April Big Update! PixCom.
Hello Commander!
Today we bring you a new update with lots of improvements. This wouldn’t have been possible without all of your constructive feedback and positive comments.
We have improved the general game experience, making the weapons feel better, the bullets more visible, and improved visual feedback when the player gets hit. We have also added several new enemies and equipment in Level 2, which is still WIP.
Change log:
- BOSS: The Helicopter-boss’ health now depends on the selected difficulty. We also added a health bar to show the boss battle’s progress. Yes, the helicopter can be killed, it just takes a lot of bullets and dodging skillz ;)
- STAMINA: No soldier can run indefinitely, so we added a stamina meter to make it more realistic.
- ENEMIES: Added two new types: Shotgun and Bazooka.
- BOMBS!: Implemented deployables. You can now find a Timed Bomb in Level 2. Have fun making things go boom!
- BULLET VISIBILITY: Added bullet trails for all weapons. We heard your feedback about bullets not being visible; we tried bigger bullets but they didn’t feel all that good. Now all bullets have tracer effects, so you know where you’re being shot from!
- HEALTH VISIBILITY: Health bar is now wider so it’s easier to see while dodging and shooting everywhere, we added a cool blood-mask whenever you get hit. Now if you die, it’s on you ;)
- ANIMATIONS: Added new animations for dead enemies.
- BAZOOKA BUFFED: You asked us to make bazooka better by increasing its range. Now rockets are bigger, and can hit further and stronger than ever.
- LEVEL 2: We’ve worked a lot on the second level, with a lot of progress on the first sector. Try going inside the new wooden cabins to pick up a bomb and destroy the gate! It’s still WIP but you can explore the enemy base you’ve been trying to breach.
Lots of bugs were fixed, and the Saving system is still being worked on and has been disabled. It will be back soon.
We made so many changes that we may have forgotten some of them. Why don’t you jump to the game now and find them yourself? Game on!
